Installation & Maintenance Notes
Important: This is sold as a JDM Long Block. To ensure proper ECU compatibility and emissions compliance, you must transfer your original intake manifold, exhaust manifold, sensors, and wiring harness from your US-spec engine to this JDM unit.
Recommended Service Before Install:

Seals & Gaskets: Replace Rear Main Seal and Front Crankshaft Seal.

Cooling: Install a new Water Pump and Thermostat.

Ignition: Use NGK Laser Platinum or Iridium spark plugs.

Lubrication: Use high-quality 5W-30 synthetic oil and an OEM Subaru oil filter.

EGR Check: Verify your local emissions requirements regarding the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system configuration.
