Installation & Notes
• USDM Swap: To ensure 100% emissions and ECU compatibility, you must transfer your all your original USDM accessories from your old engine to this JDM block.
• EGR Cleaning: Carbon buildup in the EGR system is common on the 2ZR-FXE. We strongly recommend cleaning or replacing your EGR cooler, valve, and intake manifold ports during the swap to prevent future head gasket issues.
• Preventative Maintenance: We suggest installing new spark plugs and a thermostat while the engine is out of the vehicle.
• Oil: Use high-quality 0W-20 synthetic motor oil as specified by Toyota for the 3rd Gen Prius.
• Warranty: Includes a 90-day startup warranty on internal moving parts (Head & Block).
