Installation & Notes
• USDM Swap: To ensure 100% compatibility with your vehicle's ECU and emissions system, you must transfer all your original USDM accessories to this JDM block.
• EGR System: Ensure your original EGR cooler and valve are thoroughly cleaned or replaced before installing them onto this engine to prevent future carbon buildup issues.
• Preventative Maintenance: We recommend installing a new thermostat and spark plugs while the engine is out of the vehicle.
• Oil: Use high-quality 0W-16 or 0W-20 synthetic motor oil as specified by Toyota for the 4th Gen Prius.
• Warranty: Includes a 90-day startup warranty on internal moving parts (Block & Head).
