Long Block Switchover: This is a JDM imported motor. To ensure an exact plug-and-play installation for US-market vehicles, you may need to swap your original intake manifold, wiring harness, sensors, and exhaust accessories.
Pre-Install Maintenance: We highly recommend replacing the timing belt, water pump, thermostat, rear main seal, and spark plugs prior to dropping the engine in.
Fluids & Priming: Fresh high-quality synthetic oil and OEM Subaru coolant must be used. Ensure the oiling system is fully primed before starting the engine for the first time.
Professional Install: Professional installation by a certified Subaru technician or specialized performance shop is required to maintain warranty eligibility.
