Installation Notes

CRITICAL JDM SWAP INFORMATION: Because this is an authentic imported Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) engine, certain external accessories, sensors, and the main wiring harness may differ slightly from US-spec/domestic models.

To ensure a flawless installation without triggering a Check Engine Light (CEL), your mechanic must swap your original U.S. sensors, exhaust manifold/emission equipment, and intake components onto this JDM long-block prior to dropping it into the vehicle. Always flush turbo oil feed lines and install a fresh oil filter and 0W-20 full synthetic engine oil prior to the initial startup.
