Place the JDM transmission side-by-side with your original US transmission. Inspect all electrical plugs, neutral safety switches, and exterior brackets.
Transfer your original US-spec wire harness, speed sensors, and cooling line brackets to the JDM transmission casing if any plug configurations vary.
Completely flush your vehicle’s external transmission cooler lines and radiator core to eliminate metal shavings or debris from the previous failed unit.
