  • Sensor Swap May Be Required: Because this is a genuine JDM transmission imported from Japan, you must swap over your original US-market external sensors, solenoids, switches, and wiring harness. The JDM plugs can sometimes differ from US emissions and computer standards.

  • Fluid Requirements: You must completely flush your transmission cooler lines before installation. Refill strictly with genuine Honda HCF-2 CVT Fluid. Using generic fluids will void warranties and damage the CVT belt system.

  • Professional Installation Recommended: To qualify for standard parts warranties, installation by a certified ASE mechanic is highly encouraged.
