• Note: This engine is a direct long block replacement for Forester models equipped with the SOHC EJ251 or EJ252. It does not feature AVCS or AVLS. Please verify that your original engine does not have oil solenoids on the cylinder heads before purchasing.

Installation & Notes
• USDM Swap: To ensure 100% emissions and ECU compatibility, you must transfer all your original USDM accessories from your old engine to this JDM block.
• Preventative Maintenance: We strongly recommend installing a new timing belt kit, water pump, and thermostat before installation. It is also standard practice to replace the front and rear main seals while the engine is out of the vehicle.
• Oil: Use high-quality 5W-30 motor oil and a premium filter.
• Warranty: Includes a 90-day startup warranty on internal moving parts (Head & Block).
