Every engine we sell is imported directly from Japan. That direct sourcing matters because of how the Japanese vehicle market works: strict inspection requirements and registration costs lead owners to retire vehicles relatively early, while the drivetrains still have plenty of life left. The result is a steady supply of used engines and transmissions that genuinely carry low mileage compared to typical US-market used motors.
Because we import directly rather than buying through layers of middlemen, we have visibility into where our engines come from and can keep our inventory of JDM engines, transmissions, and parts wide and current. When a shipment clears, the units come to our Kent, WA facility — not a warehouse you'll never see. You're welcome to inspect them in person.
